Which Specialist To See If Having Pain In The Groin Radiating To The Hip And Back At The Tail Bone?

I have had groin pain between abdominal and where leg connects radiating to hip and left side of back by tail bone. I'm trying to determine which doctor to see to treat this. I went to a Ortho doctor which deals in joints and she told me it is back related - either ruptured or herniated disc. Can you help me figure this out. I have pain in my left side also. So is it possible I may have a hernia?

Hi. Hernia is not known to give you a pain with radiation like you have described. I would advise to another Doctor, preferably Orthopedic surgeon and request him the tests as per your symptoms and his finding. Xray- Sonography may give a clue. Many times we have to come to diagnosis by criteria of ruling out the probable diseases.
