While Straightening Legs Get Thigh Pain Causing Limping. What Could It Be?
Every now and then if I straighten my leg the middle part of the inside of my thigh will hurt, but after a few steps I can walk it off. The other day I was walking and the same spot suddenly started hurting enough to make me limp. That was a week ago. Yesterday in the shower I lifted my leg and heard a loud pop and felt something in the middle part of my thigh Movebut it didn't hurt. Now it hurts to walk. What could this be and should I seea Dr. Our will this resolve on its own with treatment at home?
Based on the description of symptoms, I suspect that there could be some issues in the soft tissues, preferably in the thigh muscles thats troubling you. An MRI scan of the involved area is needed to exactly know the cause of your condition.
As your problem is recurring over a period of time, I don't think there is any role for self care measures or wait and watch policy. I suggest you to approach an orthopedic surgeon for a detailed evaluation and further management.
Hope this information is helpful. Good day
