Whom Should We Consult For Severe Nausea Leading To Vomiting And The Inability To Eat Apart From Noticeable Weight Loss?

My 59 year old wife is constantly nauseated and cannot eat without throwing up. She has lost so much weight it is alarming. Her GP tells her she is okay and to change her diet. I know there is more to this, Question based upon those two problems what typeof Docotor should i be looking for
