hello, Do urinalysis (R/E and C/S) to study the bacteria that is causing you recurrent infection. It will help to give specific antibiotic that will be effectively control the infection. Get clinically examined by a Urologist, you may need to get cystoscopy done to study the bacteria in the urethra and bladder. In the meantime, to get rid of pain and discomfort you can take Naproxen (Aleve) for relief. You can use heating pad to feel better. Take adequate quantity of water and fluids to keep yourself well hydrated. Take care of your hygiene, avoid use of scented feminine and hygiene products, use cranberry products.
