Hello,

The possible causes of numbness in the early morning are:
1. Sleeping in a bad posture like on one side with flexed elbows.
2. Diabetes.
3. Carpal tunnel syndrome.
4. Alcohol consumption.
5. B12 and vitamin D deficiency etc.

So keep armrest while sleep. Use pregabalin.

If symptoms not improved please consult your physician/neuro physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu, Internal Medicine Specialist
