General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Sometimes after anal stimulation, muscles around the bladder/urethra stay tight, making it harder to “let go” when you want to pee. If you were not gentle with yourself, then friction due to prolonged action can cause swelling around the prostate or urethra, which can temporarily block urine flow.

Keep yourself well hydrated, as clear urine is a good sign. Just relax; do not worry. Avoid further anal play or ejaculation until symptoms fully resolve. Use sterile, water-based lube in the future. You can take acetaminophen, one stat after food, to help reduce any swelling or inflammation.

However, if your symptoms persist, then you are advised to get clinically examined by a urologist and get urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done to detect UTI, E. coli, etc. If you experience severe pain or an inability to pass urine at all (urinary retention), get fever & chills, and see blood in urine, then you are advised to urgently visit the ER.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
