Why Am I Having Pain In My Pelvic Area?

I am having a lot of pain in my pelvic/groin area. Especially when I lift my feet up such as walking - it doesn t hurt when I stand still. It also will pop and crack which is painful as well. I cracked my pelvic bone during the delivery of my last child 13 yrs ago - could I have re-injured it?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a musculoskeletal pain or pulled ligaments.
As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
