Why Am I Having Pain While Clearing Throat And Coughing?

i fell 2 days ago face down on concrete. my head is fine but have very sore ribs mainly left side. Very bad bruising to my left under from elbow to shoulder. Had X-rays and doc said nothing broke. I have a hard time clearing my throat and coughing. Could this be due to a damaged spleen.

Hello,

This is not an injury to the spleen. I would suspect this to be the weakness of the respiratory muscles which have tend to be painful and not allowing the sputum to come out easily.

I will advise taking hot water fermentation at the injured site like the elbow and the rib cage. This will help the muscles to relax. Do steam inhalation so the lungs get moisturized. Simple breathing exercises will help to ease the pain and symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
