Why Am I Not Able To Urinate When It Is To Be Done Early In The Morning?

Sometimes when I have urge to urinate early morning around 5.00 I have problem passing urine. During day time I have no problem and urine passes normoly. Seems it s related when there is gas in stomach it happens. My age is 45. This happens sometimes only. Normally I get up at 7 and go to urinate normally.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

These symptoms could be the start of lower urinary tract symptoms LUTS. Most common cause in this age is enlargement of prostrate gland. You should get the urine test done and also the urologist advise on this.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anant Paul, General Surgeon
