Why Am I Unable To Walk Due To Cramping And Weakness In Legs?

Hi, this morning I didn t feel my usual self- thought I must be coming down with something. 4 hours ago, I went to get out of my chair when my legs suddenly became cramped, weak and twitching- i couldn t walk and could feel both legs trembling- I immediately sat back down, this feeling lasted for an hour, in- between I attempted to get up. I still feel weakness in my legs now, 4 hours later. Do you know what this could be caused by? Many thanks, Christl

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for your query.
There are many spinal conditions that may cause leg pain, foot pain, and other lower extremity symptoms. Most successful treatments are based upon having an accurate anatomic diagnosis for the basis of a specific pain syndrome. Spine care professionals are particularly well suited to oversee the diagnosis and treatment of these situations.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
