Why Am I Having Swelling In Both Legs And Feet?

my symptons are swelling in both my legs and feet. I can press down on my leg using a finger, and it stays indented (or the mark where a pressed down) for a long time. Doctor told me to just elevate my legs. Doctors have ran all kinds of test, but don t know what is wrong with me.

Hi
Leg swelling can be due to various reasons.Evening edema gives a sign of venous insufficiancy like varicose veins also.Heart insufficiecy or failure gives such edema.Liver failure also give edematous legs.Kidney problems also should be differentiated. It can also be due to lymphedema. You should approach a physician to rule out all this.He may get the idea what it is from primary examination itself.
Hope this may help you.
thanks
