Why Am I Having The Feeling Of Peeling Of Skin Of Back Of Throat?

For months now I've had the feeling that the back of my throat is peeling, it doesn't hurt or sore but that bothering feeling of skin hanging in the back of my throat and the swallowing of dead skin didn't think of it as much at first but it's been going on for a while now. Would u have an idea of why that is?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I had read your query and would like to tell you that it is the peeling of coating of tongue and pharyngeal wall.

This situation is very common in cases of dyspepsia and oropharyngeal candidiasis.

To confirm it you may consult your physician for examination, till you are waiting for doctor you may take-

1- Antacid with PPI.

2- Antiseptic mouth wash.

3- Local application of oral gel containing antibiotic + anti fungal + steroids.

I hope this will help you.

Regards.
