Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern. I have gone through your query and would like to offer my opinion. Since you are under stress, hormone imbalance is a possibility. This may have caused inadequate endometrial preparation and hence the breakthrough bleeding. The fact that you are experiencing irritable bowel syndrome calls for further evaluation. Ovulation also may not be occurring as expected in the present situation. Stress should be avoided through counseling, rest, medication and meditation. Proper diet, hydration and regular exercise should follow. Once the hormone assays and sonogram of the pelvis are done, further management can be planned. Infections also should be excluded. Hope this helps.
