Why Are Donnatal And Lomotil Prescribed?
I have been taking donnatal for over 40 years and occasionally have to take lomotal. My understanding is that these medications are for different symptions - donnatal does not help diarrhea. Can you elaborate or clarify please? I don t take both simultaneously as they help with two different issues. Thank you.

Greetings regarding your use of donnatal and lomotil yes both serve a different functions for different disease donnatal is used for intestinal cramps and seizure while lomotil is used for control diarrhoea
