Why Baby Was Prescribed Domstal And Junior Lanzol For Excessive Crying When There Was No Vomiting And Nausea?

Baby was crying a lot during late afternoons and evenings till he sleeps around 8pm.. He never had vomiting problem. My Paediatrician suspected it could be problem in his tummy and prescribed Domstal suspension and Lanzol Junior 15.. When I see this forum , domstal and lanzol are prescribed for nausea and vomiting. Even though my baby has no vomiting why did my paed prescribe it.

Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

It is likelt that sometimes infants have delayed emptying of stomach which leads to abdominal fullness and may cause the baby to cry.
As Domstal contains Domperidone, a gastric motility promoting drug, that must be the rationale why the Pediatrician would have prescribed it.
Rest be assured, trust him and continue the treatment

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life
