Why Child Is Having Prolonged Fever, Headache, Body Ache And Stomach Pain?
9 year old son has had a low grade fever and headache going on six weeks! Complains of aching all over his body when waking up! The only other symptom he has had in this 6weeks is sever abdominal pain for maybe a week! Also all the blood work they have done has all came back normal as well as the urine test

I really appreciate your concern, if the fever is running since a week then chances of typhoid is very likely and this need to be ruled out and for that "Widal test is necessary, if the widal test tuned unremarkable then viral fever can be considered and further investigation has to be carried out if child does not get well, hope this investigation helps you, have good day.
