Why Did I Have Pain Down My Arm After Taking Imitrex?

I have taken imitrex for 6 years. I have migraines everytime I ovulate or have menses. Last time I took an imitrex I felt pain going down my left arm. Now I am scared to take more imitrex. I am 46. My parents both had heart problems but they smoked and didn't have a truly good diet. I am only 5' and weigh 145. Thank you for your time. Should I try another and see if it was a fluke or not take any more. I have to take 75mg of amytryptilin and 50mg of topiramate daily as well to keep the migraines at bay.

I really appreciate your concern, the medicine (Imitrex) and the symptoms you have are unrelated with each other I agree that you must be having pain as you have said here, and for that I would advise you to have "Acetylsalicylic acid" just a single tab 150 mg a day this will subside the pain, you do have certain functional problems also and that may aggravate this symptoms so you have to keep the stress level low, have nice day.
