Why Did I Have Pain On Left Side Under My Breast After Dinner?

I ate dinner at 8 , meatloaf, brocalli, baked potato, 15 min later I had such pain on my left side under my breast. I took tumbs, asprin, water, n kept rubbing it. I felt like I was having a heart attack . I feel better now. 1130. What do you think.

Hi,
I appreciate your concern. Pain in left lower chest after meals can be due to acid peptic disease or it can be angina.
Since you pain occured immediately following meals, i think the most likely cause is Gastritis. Try taking antacids with proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole. Take semisolid or liquid meals. Avoid fried and spicy foods.Aviod lying down immediately following meals.
In case pain persists , then kindly get your ECG.
