Why Did I Vomit After Taking Obimet SR 500 And M2 Tone?

my marriage was done 10 months back, last week we are gone to gynecologist ,doctor say that i have small cyst is stating in my overy, so she prescribe M2tone and Obimet SR 500. i had these two medicines last 3 days , but having these medicines i feel vomiting .... what i do?

Obimet is one of the common medications used for polycystic ovarian disease which may be the diagnosis if the doctor stated there are cysts on the ovary.It is the trade name for a drug called metformin.

Gastrointestinal side effects are common with the use of obimet but this is normally reduced with the use of the SR form of the medication. Obimet SR is released slowly into the body as compared to normal obimet.

If your are experiencing nausea with this formulation then the other option would be glucophage SR. This is a type of metformin but because of the way it is made, it causes less GI upset.
