Why Do I Experience A Pinching Pain Accompanied By Numbness Along The Backside Of Arm?

I pulled a muscle in my back, inbetween the shoulder blade and spine, on the right side the other day. I got a prescription for metaxalone and naproxen. Now, I am experiencing , where ny armpit starts. Is this a pinched nerve or something due to the pulled muscle? Will it resolve itself? Anything else I can do for relief?

Hello,
Thanks for your query.
Nmbness and tingling sensation in the arm could be due to a nerve root irritation in the cervical spine. To exactly diagnose this problem, you need a MRI scan. Momentarily, take daily supplementation of Vit B2,B6 & B12 to suppress the symptoms of tingling in the arm.
I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query.
Take care
