Why Do I Experience Nausea Along With Confusion And Profuse Sweating?

My primary noticed I was out of it in a visit. She said an eeg is needed. I have had nausea. Some very confused episodes and in some of thos confused episodes, I can’t say what I want to say. Not all confused episodes are, that strong. Just some. My nausea causes vomiting but only Hogmanay. Not food. Ion the most intense confuse states, I get profuse sweating. To the point of changing sheets or shirt. I am 52 and so I thought it was aging.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Are you diabetic?! or hypertensive? Possible causes like andropause symptoms or BPPV with IHD or autonomic neuropathy or posterior circulation stroke etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. please check for vestibular function, serum testosterone levels or ECG or blood sugar levels etc. Please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
