Why Do I Feel Hungry Always ?

Is it a hormone deficiency when you always feel hungry no matter how much you eat? If so, what is it? If not, is it something else or just me? I m 18 if that helps, so it s not like I m going through a growth period like teenagers do.

Hello, welcome to HCM. The symptoms of increased apetite can be due to hyperthyroidism. At your age apetite is high due to increased body demands of energy. So its normal to have a high appetite. At this age parasitic infestation of intestine can also be a cause but its more common in children. You should get yourself evaluated if you find its beyound acceptable limits. Wish you good health.
