Why Do I Feel Like I Am Starving And So

Why do I feel like I am starving and so many other symptoms while tapering off of my Prednisone? I have been prescribed Prednisone 3 times in the past 5 weeks or so, as treatment for Vertigo.....Inner Ear issues, possibly. This time around was a 2 week prescription, starting off at 60 mg a day, taking 3 in the morning and 3 at night...for 5 days. I am now down to one a day, for the next two days. I didn't feel this hungry during the days I was taking the 60 mg's. I don't understand why I am feeling this way.
