Why Do I Feel Tired And Low Energy While On Methotrexate For RA?
I was recently diagnose with RA. My doctor is treating me with Methotrexate, which has been a great help with my symptoms, however I now feel tired and low-energy most of the time. Could you recommend another drug that is as effective as Metho with out this particular side effect?

Methotrexate is DMRD drug. One of the side effect of it is immunosuppressant. It lowers the immunity. so while taking it. you also need to take folic acid. Your doctor will taper the dose when the RA is controlling. There are other drugs, methotrexate with other combination can be used.
