Why Do I Get Pain In My Shoulders After Having Intercourse ?
After having sex, whether intercourse or masturbation, I experience pains in my left shoulder . Position does not seem to matter. I am almost 40 years old, I have had 6 children, I ve had a hysterectomy , I ve had my gallbladder removed, and I have hypothyroidism but am not on medication for it. Not sure of any of these could be contributing factors or not, but it has me a bit worried. What could be causing the pain?

It could be related t sexual intercourse as orgasm is usually accompanied by contraction of chest muscles. I would like you to get an ECG and consult a Cardiologist as sometimes heart disease can present this way and can be masked unless increased demand situations like sex appear. Do you experience any breathlessness, chest pain, blurry vision.
