Why Do I Have Chicken Pox Like Bumps On Shoulders, Face, Neck, Back And Knee?

I started 3 days ago with 1 or 2 bumps on my arm, now I have them on my shoulders, face, neck, back and knee. They look like chickenpox. I do not have a fever, but the bumps itch like crazy. I have taken Benedryl and I have been using Hydrocortisone.

Hi,

It seems that you may be having prurigo. You have wide spread severe itchy papulovesicular lesions. There may be some cause. Some irritant or allergen might be the cause. Even stress may exacerbate the disease. I recommend steroids in tappering doses for few weeks with antihistaminics like levocetirizine in such cases. Apply mild steroid cream till you get improvement. Avoid soap bath, you may use dettol liquid for bath. However, you consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis and treatment. I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
