Why Do I Have Electrical Sensation In My Right Shoulder And Arm?

I am an avid runner. I have noticed at times while running at a comfortable pace a tinge almost electrical sensation along the front of my right shoulder and down my my right arm. It happens and that s it. What could be going on? Is it my heart? A pinched nerve of some-kind?

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms are suggestive of a pinched nerve. Another possible cause to consider, would be a bulging disc in the cervical vertebral column. For this reason, I recommend performing a cervical spine MRI study and nerve conduction studies. Anyway, nothing serious seems to be going on!

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
