Why Do I Have Fever And Fatigue After A Total Knee Replacement Surgery?

I've just returned home from the hospital after a complex total knee replacement. The surgery was 4 hours duration. Each night (4) I ran an elevated temp of 100-102. On the final night (Thursday) the temp fell to normal about 3am but I had a tremendous sweating episode. Last night (Friday) the temp was normal but I had some more sweating. I've taken nothing for pain since Friday morning, so I don't know what else might still be in my system (or what might be missing from my system). Can you give me some information?

I have studied your case.

As pre your history infection is likely diagnosis
DO NOT IGNORE INFECTION IN POST TKR .
You may need to investigate like CRP ,CBC,ESR
PCR culture is very useful to find culprit organism.

If infection is confirmed then debriedment is required
