Why Do I Have Lactation In Breasts Inspite Of Getting Period After Intercourse?
I just realized there was something weird about my left nipple, I poked at it and realized i was lactating. I am fairly heavy smoker and cut down suddenly 2 days ago because I got sick. I am 17 years old and have not been gaining any weight and it is only in my left breast. I have also been extremely depressed lately if that says anything. I got my period a couple weeks after my most recent intercourse and it was heavy as usual.

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.
Excessive breast stimulation, which may be associated with sexual activity, frequent breast self-exams with nipple manipulation, a skin rash on the chest or prolonged clothing friction can result in fluid production. Or if you are on birth control pill, even that can result in some amount of fluid production. Which is normal , not to worry.
Self examination of breast for any swellings or change in consistency. Galactorrhea need not always due to cancer.
persistent milk productions needs to be evaluated for hormonal levels and examination of breast, list of your medication. Consult doctor for further examination and management.
Hope this helps you.
Regards
