Hello,

Since you are having urgency to urinate frequently and are having irritation for 7 weeks, it is indicative of cystitis or bladder inflammation / pain. Avoid stress, as your symptoms will worsen with stress. Avoid taking caffeine, spicy food, alcohol, and citrus food. Hormonal changes may trigger symptoms. Antibiotics reduced inflammation but not infection, so the symptoms reappeared.

Get clinically examined by a urologist to detect if you are suffering from bacterial cystitis, hormone-related cystitis or interstitial cystitis. You will be given a course of oral antibiotics for bacterial cystitis. Topical vaginal estrogen cream can improve symptoms for hormone-related cystitis over time.

To treat interstitial cystitis, you will need medicines to repair bladder lining and anti-inflammatory medicines. Pelvic floor physiotherapy. Take probiotics and cranberry supplements. Get a repeat urinalysis (R/E and C/S), blood tests and imaging tests done to rule out kidney stones, bladder stones or any glomerular disorder as traces of blood are found.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
