Why Do My Ears Throb Severely When I Lay Down?

HI there! My ears throb severely when I lay down. I'm not too sure on how to describe this feeling other than by throbbing/vibrating. I loose my balance easily and also, as dumb as it sounds, walk in to walls, run in to chairs, etc. No pain, but VERY ANNOYING and disrupts my sleeping significantly. I am currently taking 10 miligrams of methadone a day. Most times I skip every other day, therefore taking 2 ten miligrams at once. I believe my left eardrum has been ruptured, but not too sure givin the fact I was unable to tell the doctor at the E.R. exactly what had happened to me. I'm just at a loss and really need some advice on this. Thanks!:)

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
This could be viral infection with the allergic condition and that might have caused the otitis, if I would be your doctor then I would surely treat you with the following drugs,
1) Tab Chloropheniramine maleate three times in day
2) Tab Acetaminophen three times in day
Plug your ear with swab moist with alcohol, no need to put any drops, this will come around with the above drugs, take care and have nice day.
I find this answer helpful
