Hi,

If there is blood coming from any specific tooth then actually it is from the surrounding gum that can be an infection or there is pocket formation between tooth and gum due to infection.

During brushing the area can get stimulated and can cause pain.

So my suggestion is to consult a Dentist and get evaluated and a localized cleaning of the area can be done.

In case if the gums seem infection in other areas of mouth then get a full mouth scaling done.

Take a vitamin C candy daily. Massage the gums with Chlorohexidine gel. Do warm saline gargles.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

General & Family Physician Dr. Dr. Nupur K's  Response
Hi,

Teeth bleed commonly occurs due to Peridontal disease or Gingivitis, Pyria or low platelet count. Sometimes excessive brushing or flossing the teeth may also cause bleeding from the teeth. Inflammation of the gums leading to infection in the plaques results in bad breath & bleeding.

There may be loose teeth & unhealthy gums pulling away from the teeth. The bacterial infection may get into the bloodstream if neglected & increase the chances of stroke, heart disease, RA or cancer. Get physically examined by a dentist, get evaluated & treated.

In the meantime, take care of your dental hygiene, stop smoking, avoid stress, take nutritious food rich in vitamin E & vitamin C. Use antibacterial mouth wash 2-3 times a day.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
