CORTISOL. levels of this hormone are naturally higher in the morning because you make it while you sleep. cortisol does many things to your body, including raise your blood pressure! hope this helps......... PS - re:above - actually when you stand up quickly and feel dizzy, it is because your pressure is temporarily LOW. Thus your blood falls with gravity (to your legs) instead of to your head - making you dizzy. Normally your pressure then naturally adjusts and rises so you dont stay dizzy...
