Why Does My Anus And Vigina Hurt While Trying To Pee?
I am a 20 yr old female. As of a few days ago, when I have bowel movements and need to use the restroom, my anus hurts . The area around my anus is dry and it itches. It sometimes bleeds and it it very painful when I urinate or go do #2. In addition, when I pee, my vagina hurts and it burns. What causes this or how can I have this cured? Is there an ointment I can put on my anus or something because this is very painful. I drink lots of water daily and I am not sure why this would happen.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
As per my surgical experience, this indicates possible fissure around the anus with urinary infection. Primary guidelines for better outcome - Sitz bath regularly. - Local application of Lignocaine (5%) jelly over the anal area. - System use of anti-inflammatory medicines, urinary alkalizer after prescription from your doctor. - Dietary measures to consume high fiber with plenty of liquids, if necessary bulk-forming laxative intake. - Book an appointment with a consultant surgeon for further course of action.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
