Why Does My Period Last For 15 Days And More ?

hi sir iam 23 yr old female with irregular periods, sometimes it occur after 2 month and ther it bleeds for 10-15 days, i went to dr 8 months back and was given primolut 5mg for 2o days. next cycle was very scant and then again heavy flow after 2 months, now whenever it exceed 7 dats i take primolut for 20 days. why is it occuring? what should i do?

hello,
irregular periods may be due to hormonal imbalance.
continue the drug provided by your doctor for 3 to 4 cycles to get your periods regular.dont stop in between.
If vaginal bleeding does not stop, despite taking the tablets correctly or heavy bleeding reoccurs while you are taking the tablets, you should contact your doctor. Your doctor will need to consider other causes for the bleeding.
