From your symptoms, you may have a type of
fungal infection.It could be Candida or
Tinea cruris.If the itching extends into the groin, it could be tinea cruris, however, itching around the tip of the
urethra most likely indicates candidal infection.Also, this could be associated with urethral discharge.The urge to urinate is stimulated to some extent by rubbing the urethral region even in normal individuals so that is not something to bother about.
One more possibility is that of
contact dermatitis such as with condom or lubricants.
If it is a fungal infection, you need to keep the area clean and dry and change underwear everyday. If symptoms do not improve or worsen, you may need antifungal cream.
Also look out for any possible
allergy against condoms or lubricants.
