Urologist 's  Response
Increased pus cells in urine is indicative of UTI usually, but may also be due to stone disease, tuberculosis or malignancy.
Do u suffer from frequency, urgency or burning sensation during micturition or have pyuria. Do u also have fever or vomiting or pain abdomen. Are u diabetic. These may be suggestive of cystitis or pyelonephritis.
Get Urine culture and Ultrasound KUB also done. Ultrasound will help to rule out stone disease or any other cause leading to persistent infection.
If u suffer from frequent episodes of UTI, will require prophylactic antibiotic in low dose for long duration.
