Why Does One Feel Necrotic In The Ankles?

In July of 2010 I was diagnosed with MRSA in two areas (the left hip and right side of my penile shaft). I had surgery which included lancing and draining both sites. In my hip area pre surgery, the area was very necrotic. I have sites on both ankles (inside of each ankle) that feels necrotic. How can I treat? What measures can I take?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Necrotic tissue on both ankles suggests cellulitisof the tissue.
Debridement of the necrotic tissue is required followed by antibiotic course.
A culture sensitivity is also required to look for the specific organism causng the infection and the most appropriate antibiotic effective against the causative bacteria.

Thanks and take care
