Why Does One Lose Control Over The Bowels?

HI, I AM 61 AND HAVE BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH SPINAL STENOSIS, I RECENTLY HAVE BEEN HAVING MORE PAIN THAN USUAL THAT RADIATES DOWN MY LEFT LEG, MY MAIN CONCERN IS THAT I AM STARTING TO LOSE CONTROL OVER MY BOWEL AT NIGHT, IT NEVER HAPPENS IN THE DAY. DOES ONE THING HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE OTHER.

Hello,

Only problem at night seems unusual, most probably related to postural compression of spinal nerves from spinal stenosis in lying down position creating the issue at night.

You need consultation with MRI report if done to focus more precisely.
