Why Dragging Of Left Leg Getting Worse After Neck Surgery?

In 2001 I had surgery for a disc in my neck - at the time of examination the doctor said I drag my left leg. It has been 12 years since the surgery and the dragging of my left leg seems to be getting worse. I work and stand on concrete floors all day could this be part of the problem.
