Why Gestational Sac Is Not Seen In The Ultrasound Scan?

Hi,

To day i undergone ultrasound scan because i doubt i am a pregenent

i had tested by using the pregenency kit that shows positive in one week back.

the result says endometrium thicknness is 16mm and not yet seen gestational sac

what does mean ?

Following is my reply:

1) It means either you have gone early for scan or possibility of ectopic pregnancy.

2) Please get serunm beta hCG blood test and repeat the scan after one week
