Why Have I Been Prescribed With Digeplex For E-coly?

I am 23yrs old. My weight is 52 kg and height is 5 ft 1 inch. i am suffering from ecoly. i have this disease since 1 year. when i take medicine i become but after 6 months it repeats. this is 3rd time. why doctor has given me digeplex for 15 days?I dont have interest in taking meals as i have taken 5 days
