Why Having Motions With Stomach Ache When Diagnosed With Ulcerative Colitis?

My wife was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis in june 2011. now she has had motions since last 4-5 days with continuous stomach ache. We administeres her oflox in between then motions were ok but when we stop it motions come up again. she is on sazo 500

Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Since your wife is a known patient of ulcerative colitis it is possible that there is recurrence of the problem.
Ofloxacin can definitely take care of the infection associated with colitis hence she got a temporary relief in multiple motions with stomach ache to recur after stoppage of Oflaxacin.
She needs to continue Sazo that is Salazopyrin and may need an increase in dosage as per and under the guidance you her Gastroenterologist.
Also watch for the foods and beverages and other factors like stress and anxiety that either instigate or enhance the problems and stop these altogether to get the better results.
It is always better to get the stool and blood tested for any additional information and get well soon.
