General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Sharp pain during bowel movements can be related to possible fissure around the anus with slow peristaltic movements of the colon via constipation secondary to anal spasm and pain.

Plenty of liquids, laxatives and sitz bath will give the best relief till you get checked by an expert surgeon with per rectal and proctoscopy evaluation on OPD basis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
