Why I Felt Pain Below My Knee, Please Give Me Advice
I had hairline fracture in my left foot ( 2nd metatarsal ) I didnt fall nor sprain my foot. Dr. told it was a stress. I had my cast Dec.29,2010. till Jan.29,2011 ( 1 month ) now my 2nd day since my cast removed.I had pain and sore around my foot but i know its normal because my foot was immobalized for so long and now re-adjusting because now I am putting weight on it (standing and walking )My question is why i felt pain below my knee (tibia) though my cast was jus below my knee before ? Please give me advice i m started to worry again.By the way, I m female 39 years old.

though the cast was below knee along with your foot even the muscles around tibia were also immobilised .so initially for few days stretching of muscle may be causing pain ; if so it should subside in a weeks time.
