Why Is Imdur Prescribed For A Person Post Stent Placement?

Can you tell me what IMDUR 30mg 24 hr. tab is for? I have been advised to take 1 tab every morning. I have just received a stent and some of my medications have been changed. This is one I cannot locate in the list of meds I have been taking. Please answer to - YYYY@YYYY
