Why Is Penidure 6 Lac Injection Taken For?

i had took penidure 6 lac injection every month for almost 15 years... what all i remember is i used to have knee pain when i was a child, i was very weak, i was not allowed to play outdoor games and i just know that it is some heart related problem... please answer my question asap..

Hello
When you were a child ,at that time you may got streptococcus infection in your throat and this may have infected your heart and knee joint known as rheumatic heart disease and rheumatoid arthritis .
The penidure is a long acting benzathine penicillin and most effective against streptococcal infection .
For the prevention for rheumatic heart disease and knee ( rheumatoid arthritis ) , your doctor prescribed this drug .
It was advised 6 lac/ month ( once ) deep intramuscular .

Till date this is the best treatment for these infections.
