Why Is My BP Always Higher When It's Checked By The Doctor?
why is my BP always higher when it's checked by the doctor? Since i have been put on tablets it s always around 120/70 at home, but at the surgery it s more like 160/90. The GP said it should be the same with her and even if i am nervous i should be able to control it. what do you think she said she understand it goes higher when we are nervous but still it should not go over a certain number. Now she has put me on 2 tablets but i am wondering if i need 2. at rest my heart rate can go down to 50.
Just being in the waiting room sends mine up and those awful new machines they use is enough to stress anyone..They check mine 3 times and it comes down each time.. If they leave you alone for a few minutes it is possible to work a 'mind over matter' routine...............
