Why Is My Child Passing Smelly Gas?

My eight year old has had very smelly gas the last couple weeks. He is prone to constipation, and is on a regular Mira ax and senna regimen. But this symptom is new for him and concerning in that it continues though he seems to be having relatively regular bms.

Smelly stools with gas is the sign of some infection in the stomach.
antibiotic like ciprofloxacin with meterogyl combination will releive the symptoms.
