Why Is My Infant Having Fever?

I have a fourteen month old that has had a fever of around one hundred to one hundred one degrees for two days the doctor said to keep liquids in him and give him tylenol if he is still sick day after tomorrow bring him back in is this constant fever safe

Fever is mostly viral .
Usually it takes 3 to 5 days for the fever to settle, its safe to continue tylenol until then.
However if he develpos other symptoms or becomes dull,
Get him evaluated thoroughly .
Ensure he drinks plenty of liquids
